Our History
Lux Electric is a fully licensed electrical contracting company. Being a part of the NYC electrical industry for 3 generations, we have worked in almost every facet of the business. From building and maintaining meat packing plants, printing press and machine shops in the early days to office build outs for some on the City’s finest companies to renovations of high end residences at some of the most prestigious Manhattan addresses. We have the experience and knowledge to provide our customers with top rate service and workmanship.
We strive to stay ahead of today’s continually changing technology. As a result, we have partnered with experts in lighting and shade controls, audio/video and whole-home automation to provide you with a complete package to fulfill all of your wiring needs.

Our Team
Chris Mock - President
A third-generation electrician, Chris has been working in the industry since the age of eight, when he began driving around with his father and grandfather at work. Eventually he made his way into the field, working summers and holidays, while finishing college and then full time after graduation. By 25, he had taken over many aspects of the business, running both the day-to-day operations and managing job sites.
Rafael Perez - VP/Master Electrician
Rafael started as an electrical apprentice for Paul Mock, Chris’ father. He worked his way to become a Journeyman Electrician and ultimately earned his Master Electrician’s License. Rafael strives to stay in step with the most current technology and equipment that the industry has to offer.
